The Impact of Epilepsy on a Family
This program is geared for adults, parents, grandparents, and other family members of children and adults who have epilepsy, as well as for caregivers, school staff and any adult with an interest in the many issues facing children with epilepsy. Topics include challenges in school, recreational activities, self-esteem, adjustment concerns, babysitter issues, peer attitudes, and proper first aid. This program will also address issues for adults who have epilepsy which include: discussion, employement, and driving. Attendees will have ample opportunity to ask questions.
